### *Route from Srinagar*
1. *Srinagar → Sonamarg*: 80 km, ∼2.5 hours drive via NH1 on Srinagar-Leh Highway
2. *Sonamarg → Zero Point*: 25 km ahead, ∼45 min to 1 hour drive towards Zoji La Pass
- Road is open only *May to September*. In winter it’s closed due to snow at Zoji La
- You’ll need a local taxi from Sonamarg. Private cars/tourist taxis are allowed till Zero Point
- Last 10-15 km is steep, narrow and snow-covered even in summer
*Nearest Airport*: Srinagar Airport - 115 km
*Nearest Major Town*: Sonamarg - 25 km

*Altitude: ∼3,500 meters / 11,480 feet above sea level*
